Our School Curriculum

Patterdale CofE Primary Curriculum

Our enriched curriculum aims to enable children to respond positively, creatively and with integrity to the challenges they will face in their future lives.

Our starting point when designing the curriculum was the question ‘What learning should the children at Patterdale C of E School experience during their nursery and primary years?’

We built on the EYFS and National Curriculum in answering this question in order to provide a locally relevant education which responds to the needs and opportunities of our community. Our broad and balanced curriculum at Patterdale C of E School is progressive; rich in vocabulary, knowledge, and skills; and is approached through the CUSP Curriculum (Curriculum by Unity Schools Partnership). 

We plan for all our children to gain a great breadth of knowledge and skills which will open up the future for them.
